EA Sports reveals Madden 13 cover featuring Detroit Lions' Calvin Johnson
EA Sports has revealed the cover of Madden 13, featuring Detroit Lions superstar Calvin Johnson. Megatron beat out Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton recently to claim the spot.
It's good and bad. I like the Ford Field and Renaissance Center shots in the background, showing off badly needed positive images of Detroit. I'm not a big fan of the particular pose EA went with. There's something about Calvin's wide-eyed look I don't like. Scared maybe? Also, he seems to be peeling blue at the right hand.
I'm still glad he won. Can't think of anyone else more deserving of it this year.

What is that blue stuff coming out of his glove anyway haha. Maybe he bleeds blue?
